WiFi Vibration Sensor Main Unit Set / MG5VP-RF8WAC-SET

It is a wireless vibration meter that incorporates a 3-axis accelerometer and uses WiFi for wireless communication.

Communication is possible at a distance of approximately 70 meters (in a clear line of sight environment). By using an optional router, it is possible to connect up to 100 wireless accelerometers with a single PC/software.

[Sonas x02 Introduction Case] Demonstration Experiment of Condition Monitoring at a Dam

We will contribute to addressing the aging issues of infrastructure structures, including large concrete structures, and disaster prevention measures.

To verify the effectiveness of new maintenance and management methods for aging river structures, which are deteriorating like other infrastructure, we conducted a demonstration experiment using 'sonas x02' at a river demonstration field provided by Kawasaki City. The dam undergoes monthly gate opening and closing operation checks and visual inspections; however, due to the considerable time elapsed since its construction, there was a need for new technologies to assess its condition and enable remote monitoring. Therefore, we utilized this product to sense the vibrations of the dam during gate operations and flood occurrences, comparing them with normal vibrations to verify the dam's condition. The feature of operating for extended periods on dry batteries outdoors also met the requirements needed for this demonstration experiment. 【Case Study】 ■ Client: Kawasaki City ■ Challenges Before Implementation - There is an urgent need to establish maintenance and management methods utilizing new technologies for aging river structures. ■ Reason for Selection - Vibration monitoring during gate operations and flood occurrences is possible even outdoors without a power source. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

【SCOPE】

A facility monitoring system realized at an overwhelmingly low cost.

It is a monitoring system using wireless sensing that can be built at an overwhelmingly low cost. It can utilize a variety of sensors centered around vibration. As a result of achieving low power consumption while maintaining sufficient sensitivity to detect abnormal signs, it has achieved a battery life of about three years with measurements taken every five minutes (using a CR2032 button battery). It is possible to start small with a low-cost investment and gradually increase the number of sensors to improve the reliability of the entire line.

Battery replacement every approximately 3 years is fine! A maintenance-free equipment maintenance system.

Efforts to save power! Achieving long lifespan without compromising sensitivity through the use of special modes and consideration of calculation methods.

The SCOPE sensor is both inexpensive and designed for low power consumption. While I cannot provide details due to proprietary information, we achieve long battery life without sacrificing sensitivity through the use of special modes and careful consideration of calculation methods. Specifically, we have achieved a battery life of around three years (with individual variations) through measurements taken every five minutes. In contrast, many other wireless vibration sensors typically measure once a day, making high-frequency measurements like those of SCOPE impractical from a battery life perspective. As a result of high-frequency measurements, we can accurately measure vibrations even in machines like automatic activation devices, where the timing of operation is unpredictable. *For more detailed information, please refer to the related links.
